The Frog Princess has
been learning how to do
speed cup stacking
in her physical education classes at school.
Thanks to her mother's hoarding
"green living"
I happened to have this ridiculous
stash of plastic cups leftover
from my husband's paint supplier
in our garage.
She has been giving us
daily demonstrations of her
speed stacking
(and unstacking)
techniques.
She has also been making
gigantic
cup stacks.
Avoiding hazards like
cats and little sisters....
Now you can see what
my kids do when they have
too much free time
(and 28" of snow)
around here.
If you're stuck inside
with bored kids in this winter mess
you could always crack out a
package of party cups
(or bathroom cups)
or raid your tupperware collection.
Happy Stacking!

Impressive, very impressive. Off to find some cups to entertain my 4 yr old as we also have a ridiculous amount of snow here!
She did real well building it that high without it knocking down. I have been saving yogurt containers because I knew we would need them for something. Thanks for the idea!
Too funny! The kids helped me clean out the pantry yesterday and I found a ridiculous amount of party cups that I must have gotten free at some point, but we haven't had that many parties. I didn't know what to do with them till now. Thanks--this will help us get through another snow day!
What a really fun idea!
We do this with toilet paper sometimes. I used to buy huge bulk packages of individually wrapped rolls (I know, terrible for the environment). I've gone away from that, but those pre-wrapped ones were great for building! Now, we'll have to use some cups. Luckily I have party cups in the basement.
Thanks for the great idea. I think I'll put this together for our Welcome Olympics playdate on Friday!
My son would love that! I have an award for you!
Just looked at this post with my 3 boys - they are very impressed!!!
That is SO cool! My little one would never let it get that high before knocking it over, though! ;)
